ABOUT ME
Deborah Eiland has degrees from Columbus State Community College and Capella University, where she earned her Master of Science Degree specializing in Early Childhood Education.
She is a recently semi-retired Early Childhood Educator after 30 years and is now a published author. Her third book BEE Careful follows the adventures of sibling bees trying to find a needed sunflower to help their sister. The Princess and the Black-eyed Pea is her second book adapted from well-known fairytales. Her first book, another adaptation, was The Girl with the Ebony Locs and the Three Bears, published in 2019.
Along with writing children’s books, she has over 11 years of teaching experience in Pre-K, public, and charter schools. She has many hours of experience training teachers, administrators, and parents on various topics and has many trainings that are Ohio Approved.
Deborah, a mother of four and grandmother of eight, lives in Columbus, Ohio. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and volunteering in her local community.
