Deborah Eiland published her first book, The Girl with the Ebony Locs and the Three Bears, in 2019, an adaptation of the old fairytale Goldilocks and the Three Bears. In 2023, Deborah published two books, The Princess and the Black-eyed Pea, another adaptation of an old fairytale, and BEE Careful, a story that follows the adventure of sibling bees. Deborah’s goal is to offer children’s books with a positive message that includes characters of diverse representation.
